Freedom Area Educational Foundation higher education scholarships are awarded to Freedom Area students for all forms of post-secondary education.

Factors considered in awarding scholarships:

• Attendance record
• Academic progress as measured by grades, class standing and/or GPA
• Aptitude Test Scores
• College Board Test Scores
• Extracurricular Activities
• Essay

Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the student to minimize the impact of the award on other financial aid. 

The minimum scholarship amount is $500.  The number and maximum amount of the awards are determined by the Foundation Board of Trustees.
