Our mission
The Freedom Area Educational Foundation is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization that was established in January 2008 to maintain and enhance the quality of the education and extracurricular activities being provided within the Freedom Area School District.
The Foundation administers the Freedom Area Hall of Fame to recognize the achievements of successful and prominent alumni. The Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, held the 3rd Saturday each September also serves as our primary annual fundraiser.
The F.A.E.F. sponsors additional activities and events throughout the year, and funds both student Scholarships and Teacher Grants. mission of your organization.
Freedom Area School District
The Freedom Area School District is located in Beaver County, PA and is composed of primarily residential and rural communities. It serves the boroughs of Freedom and Conway and the township of New Sewickley. As such, the district does not possess a substantial business community to provide significant auxiliary funding.
The Freedom Area Educational Foundation was created to be the vehicle that provides the district with that extra level of financial support through the receipt of public and private grants and fundraising projects.
